Using THIEVES Strategy to Improve the Seventh Grade Students’ Reading Comprehension Achievement

This research was conducted with the aim of finding out whether there is significant improvement on students’ reading comprehension achievement before and after being taught by using THIEVES strategy differences who are those not. for 12 meetings quasi-experimental design used to conduct research. The population in this study were all seventh grade students SMPN 1 Panang Enim. In selecting sample writer purposive sampling technique total 62 which included experimental class controll class. To analyze data paired t-test independent via SPSS 25. Based result t-test, p-output 0.000 df=30 (2.042), t-output 6.291.
